There’s something about a flea market that feels a bit like stepping into someone else’s story.

The early morning start, a tea in hand, a quiet break from phone pings as I walk up to the first row of booths — not knowing what treasures I might find — is a feeling I look forward to every Spring when the markets return.

Some of my favorite pieces have come from early Sunday mornings at Elephant’s Trunk, a day trip spent wandering at Brimfield, and the occasional pull-over for an “estate sale” or “antiques” sign when you never quite know what’s waiting. Over time, I’ve come to rely on a handful of places and instincts when sourcing. This guide is a collection of those go-to spots, along with what I look for and how I shop them.
